oh wow. That was really shocking.
You know how i said my frogs escaped scot free? well, one of them didn't. Peanut was bigger than olive, and couldn't find his way out side. So, this morning, i found a little dried up body on my porch. He was horribly skinny and wrinkly, but thankfully, he didn't rot. That means he could still be alive! i put him in water as fast as possible, and now all i can do is pray. I read and article about this african clawed frog ( a type of frog that is fully aquatic ) That escaped its cage, and dried up. His owner found him dried up in a corner, with missing toes and wrinkly skin, and after putting him back in the water, she waited a week or so and he started moving! within a month he had grown back his toes!
I hope its the sam with peanut. His case is a little less extreme ( he still has all his toes ) and this morning i think i heard him croak! it may of been my crickets... but they cant chirp.... All i can do now is hope.
