Hello peoples!
My how to Wednesdays aren't really working, because i always wanna write one of them on a day that NOT Wednesday, so now, i am just going to do how to's whenever i feel like it.
So any way, my dad and i just set up a worm box, basically, a plastic bin with dirt and worms in it.
To set one up, we ripped up newspaper for bedding on the bottom. Then we poured in a bunch of garden dirt in, wet it, and poured in compost. Pretty easy, and not tooooo expensive but still...
Just the worms costed 20 bucks, but i guess it makes sense, because the guy we bought them from, had a little home business and he had to make money somehow.
Any way, it was really easy. I was just a little cutting, drilling, gluing, and pouring, and took under five minutes. Any way, bye!
What kind of worms are they?
ReplyDeletethey are called red worms ( they are kinda a reddish brown ). They are good for composting and look pretty much like regular earthworms
