How to make bird stuff

I am guessing you have no idea what i mean when i say "bird stuff"
Let me clarify. When i say bird stuff i mean stuff to give to the WILD birds in your backyard. You know, like houses and feeders.

1. The peanut butter feeder.

This simple feeder is attractive and cute, however, it needs to be refilled constantly. It consists of three sticks and some string

Here , is a picture of the feeder

You simply find one largish stick ( about 5 inches in diameter  and a foot long)
And two smaller ones ( about 1 or 2 inches in diameter and 6 inches long)
And tie them together using strong twine
Make sure that its tight!
Then, to fill it simple slather on peanut butter and press seeds in the peanut butter.
Hang it wherever in your yard has the most birds.
This peanutty treat in enjoyed by woodpeckers, chickadees, nuthatches and some other birds

2. Coffee can bird house
This house is ideal for small birds such as chickadees and sparrows.
First of all, find a suitable can. The one in the picture bellow would work.
It should be about 4-7 inches tall.

Cut a hole in the plastic lid with a sharp knife ( careful!!!)
The hole should be about 4-5 inches in diameter, or one inch tall and one inch wide.
Make sure the hole is smooth. You can use sandpaper to smooth the hole and ensure the safety of your birds.
Then, to add a more natural feel, glue twigs on the sides.
Glue a loop of twine to the top, and you are ready to attract birds!

3. This is a useful feeder, plus it is easy to make!
Nowadays, bird feeders can cost $20 or more. This one you can make at home for free.
You need:
A large soda bottle
1 cream cheese container ( the short kind )
Glue
Scissors

1. Ok. First of all, get your self a old soda bottle.

2. wash out the inside and the outside, and peel the label off.

3. cut of the end of the bottle without the spout.

4. cut half moon shapes in the recently cut off part.
Example:
5. Now, take you cream cheese bin. Cut of the rim so the whole bin is only one half inch tall

6. Glue the top part of the bottle to the cream cheese container.

7. Discard the bottom of the bottle

8. if you want to now, you can ad sticks as perches to the sides of the cream cheese container.

9. To fill, put a funnel through the top and pour seeds through the feeder. Add the lid when you put it out  so the seeds to not get wet or moldy.

10. Enjoy!

Humming bird feeder

This feeder is the same as the previous, except, you need to add faux ( red ) flowers to the bottom cream cheese part so it will attract, and you turn the bottle upside-down and leave it whole.
Cut tiny holes in the bottom part of the bottle that the cap would screw in, to allow the nectar to flow out.
Glue it in securely and allow it to dry for 24 hours.
Sorry i have no idea how to hang it. you can figure that out yourself

Bird bath

Bird baths can be made out of practically, any thing. Flower pot saucers, lids of various things....
Any way, i will leave you to imagine what. Believe me, its not hard. Anyway
Bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
